Bus Hire
Self Help Workplace owns a 25 seat bus with a tow-bar that is available to community groups and not for profit organisations for casual hire. As the bus is primarily used to transport our employees into town every weekday afternoon, it is generally available at other times of the day and on the weekends.
Availability
Monday to Friday: Between 8:30am and 3:00pm or from 4:30pm onward
Weekends and Public Holidays: All day
Cost
$150 per day plus refuel costs
- a $2 per litre fuel charge will be incurred if the bus is not returned full
- Bookings cancelled with less than 36 hours notice will incur full hire fee
Licence / Accreditation Requirements
- The driver must hold a full light rigid licence (at minimum)
- The driver must be over 25 years of age
- If the passengers are paying for their fare, the driver must also hold a Public Passenger Vehicle - Ancillary Certificate
- Self Help Workplace is responsible for all road worthy certificates and accreditation
